Description: Silent Dialogue delves into the difficulty of expressing emotions and ideas that often remain unspoken. The artwork is filled with cubic brush stokes and overlapping patterns that resemble fragmented speech or thought, made with kitchen utensils that scrape through layers of paint. Bright, contrasting colours—light blues, neon greens, and sharp yellows—collide on the canvas, representing miscommunication and the struggle to be understood. The textural variety symbolizes the different forms of communication, both verbal and nonverbal, and how much of Chloe’s inner world remains unarticulated. The result is a piece that feels both chaotic and profound, embodying the weight of unspoken words.
