This bold, textured piece captures the raw emotion of self-reflection, painted with hands, a plaster scraper, and palette knife. Created under the warm flicker of firelight, the colors—Mars Black, Midnight Navy, Denim Blues, Titanium White, Lemon Butter Yellows, Love Red, and a soft Peachy Pink—unfold in a dramatic expression of deep introspection. Painted in the dark, Chloe allowed herself to choose these colors intuitively, often with her eyes closed, as if playing a childlike game. The high-gloss finish reflects both her confidence and the emotional intensity that was flowing in the moment. Despite feeling blue, the warmth of her fire and the vibrancy of these hues reveal the paradox of struggle and resilience.
